Most nights, I would watch my dad play games on the Nintendo 64 or Sega Dreamcast before bed. However, one night when he had to step out for a phone call, I decided that it was my turn to give it a try. Needless to say, I was hooked. Games are one of my favorite ways to bond with other people. As I grew up, I continued to watch and play games like Halo 2 and The Elder Scrolls: Oblivion with my dad. By the time I got to fourth grade, my best friend introduced me to World of Warcraft, which I still play to this day. In high school, I continued to make new friends through video games like WoW, League of Legends, and the Zelda franchise. In college I decided to pursue Computer Science to see if I could learn how to make games. During that journey, I learned that I preferred working with people more than programs and decided to pursue Production at SMU Guildhall for grad school. Looking back, I think I made the right choice!
